Reverend Edna is an ordained Unity minister, a graduate of Unity Institute’s Ministerial Education Program, and a Licensed Unity Teacher. Prior to serving Unity Church of Lawrence, she was a co-founding minister of Unity of Loudoun County in Leesburg, VA for six years. Before attending the ministerial program, Rev. Edna served as interim Spiritual Leader of the Unity community in Shepherdstown, West Virginia.. Edna’s ten years of service to the Unity community in Frederick, Maryland included creating and leading the Youth Education Program, co-founding and facilitating the Weekly Prayer and Healing Service, and service on the Board of Trustees including a term as President.
Reverend Edna brings with her twenty years of corporate experience, including managing international Customer Service operations in the biotechnology sector.
Reverend David graduated from Unity Institute’s Ministerial Education Program and was ordained by Unity Worldwide Ministries in 2006. He then served as co-minister with Rev. Edna in co-founding Unity of Loudoun County with L.U.T. Amy George. Together they served that spiritual community from 2006 to 2012.
Previous to the pioneer experience, David had fourteen years of service to the Unity Church of Lawrence. His many roles in the Kansas community included Chaplain Ministry, Family Ministries Director, Youth Ed Teacher, leading the Wednesday Meditation Service, Worship Assistant as well as six years on the Board of Trustees.
Reverend David brings to ministry thirty-four years of business experience, primarily in all aspects of printing including managing printing operations for corporations and small privately owned firms. David graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Religious Studies and Theater. These areas of interest broaden his approach to ministry.
